On the afternoon of 19th September, Anqing Foreign Language School held the overseas studying symposium. Attendees included Director Dr. Jia-Yi Cheng, Deputy Director Tim Honadel with the International Division from the College of the Canyons, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli as well as Director Xu Zuitai from our International Department. Also, we invited students in our school’s study-abroad class, students who intended to pursue their overseas studies and their parents to attend the forum.
To begin with, Director Xu Zuitai with our International Division introduced the basic information with regard to Anqing Foreign Language School’s international exchange over the years. He laid emphasis on the Fast Track to Universities in California, USA Program.
Furthermore, Dr. Jia-Yi Cheng, Director of International Department in the College of the Canyons, proceeded detailed presentation and exchange in terms of the learning condition, advanced school management, cutting-edge teaching experience, campus culture in addition to the learning atmosphere from abroad.Additionally, she shared her personal experience and many cases of overseas students’ success, which provide suggestions and solved puzzles bewildering students who were about to study abroad.
To conclude, President Madam Huang Wenli summarized the forum with a keynote speech in which she hoped that our students who would go abroad very soon were supposed to respect their parents, teachers and others in that they would positively take part in various informative extracurricular activities to cultivate their personal abilities. Above all, they should earnestly learn knowledge to get better development and obtain success.
